Why Cold Pressed Marula Oil Is the Ultimate Facial Oil

Why Cold Pressed Marula Oil Is the Ultimate Facial Oil

Not all oils are created equal. Cold pressing — the same technique used to make extra virgin olive oil — extracts Marula oil without heat or chemicals, preserving every beneficial compound exactly as nature intended.

Marula oil is extraordinarily rich in oleic acid (omega-9), making up around 70–78% of its fatty acid profile. This is what gives it the ability to penetrate deeply into the skin rather than sitting on the surface. The result: intense hydration that doesn't feel heavy or greasy.

It also contains high levels of antioxidants vitamin C, vitamin E, and a class of compounds called procyanidins  that neutralise free radicals and protect skin from environmental stress. Clinical studies have shown Marula oil to be significantly more resistant to oxidation than argan oil, meaning it stays active on your skin longer.

For all skin types, morning and night, a few drops of cold pressed Marula oil is all you need. Warm it between your fingers and press gently into cleansed skin before moisturiser or on its own as a finishing step.

Pure. Simple. Effective.
